Stewart Manor School Community Officially Welcomes Principal

Stewart Manor School’s new principal, Robert Cavaliere, had a special welcome from scholars and staff during an assembly filled with Stallion spirit on Sept. 24.
Holding pom-poms, displaying handmade artwork and proudly showing photos of their principal, students in grades pre-K through sixth surprised Mr. Cavaliere with a heartfelt and enthusiastic welcome. A sixth grader emceed the assembly, inviting each grade level to share cheers and congratulations as the school community celebrated together.
A special video montage featuring staff members was also shown in his honor.
Students reflected on what makes a great principal, sharing qualities such as strong leadership, kindness and the ability to lead by example.
As part of the celebration, Mr. Cavaliere was presented with thoughtful gifts and tokens of appreciation, including symbolic items such as a pencil, whistle and bandage, Stewart Manor blankets, and a framed fingerprint heart artwork created by students.
The assembly concluded on a high note as the entire school joined together to sing “Cavaliere” to the tune of “I Want Candy,” showcasing their Stallion pride and giving Mr. Cavaliere a memorable official welcome to his role as principal.
