Five of our schools proudly participated in the FIRST LEGO League Robotics Qualifier at Mineola High School on January 25. This exciting competition challenged students to showcase their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills across three key components: the Robot Game, where teams design and program robots to complete missions; the Innovation Project, where students present solutions to real-world challenges; and Core Values, which emphasizes teamwork, discovery and inclusion.

This year’s theme, Submerged, is part of the ocean-inspired FIRST DIVE program, presented by Qualcomm. We are incredibly proud of the outstanding performance of all five schools, whose hard work and dedication exemplified the very spirit of this competition. We are thrilled to share that Stewart Manor School earned the Second Place Robot Performance Award and will advance to the next round championships, which will take place in Hicksville on March 9.

Congratulations to all our scholars and teams for their remarkable achievements in this year’s tournament!
