Zoom for Education - Video Conferencing Platform

As part of our distance learning plan, we are excited to introduce a video conferencing component, via the Zoom platform, to enhance the interactions our students are currently having with their teachers in SeeSaw. This additional feature will provide teachers with an opportunity to meet virtually with their students for “live” class sessions, that will reintroduce a sense of community in our schools during a time of physical separation. The social-emotional needs of our students during this time are of the utmost importance to the Elmont district. Providing valuable face-to-face time where students can see and interact with their classmates and teachers will help to bridge the gap until we can meet again.
