A Message from Mrs. Sagnelli

Welcome to Stewart Manor Elementary School’s Homepage! We are located at the western end of Stewart Avenue, in the village of Stewart Manor. Our student body comes to us from the following four communities: Elmont, New Hyde Park, South Floral Park and Stewart Manor. Stewart Manor Elementary School educates approximately 375 students from Pre-K to 6th Grade. Our dedicated staff is committed to inspiring minds, empowering achievement, and building community.

Our school community is a special place and as the Principal, I am overjoyed to be able to positively impact the lives of students and teachers each and every day. My educational philosophy is simple: Children First…. Always! The learning environment we have created at Stewart Manor ensures that our students feel safe, comfortable, challenged, and engaged. Educating our students to meet the demands of a challenging, dynamic society is truly a team effort! We value and understand the benefits of a strong family-school partnership.
